On the 13th November we left Brisbane with Qantas to New York City, with a transfer in LAX.
When we finally arrived in our destination, Manhattan, we were very tired but went straight to an Irish Pub with our friend and then next day to Brooklyn with friends, for more beers!
Then we visited some of the tourist attractions, of course. The High Line Park, World Trade Center, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Hook & Ladder 8 (the Ghostbusters firehouse) were some of them.

More pubs (including McSorley’s Old Ale House, the oldest “Irish” tavern in New York City.
Plus lots of board game nights! In total we’ve spent 8 days in NYC. There are two other things we did that deserve not only a mention, but two other separate posts: the Star Wars and the Power of Costume and the Sony Photography Roof Top Event, where we got to meet Dani Diamond!
