Holidays 2015 – Part 5 – Hawaii
The North Shore of Oahu was the last part of our holidays. We added Hawaii to our trip so we could rest up in good weather before coming back to Brisbane’s summer, and also because we love to shoot the surf.
Holidays 2015 – Part 3 – Alaska
We left New York City to Fairbanks, Alaska. Our main reason to go there was to see the Northern Lights again. Unfortunately, it was snowing the whole time and the Aurora activity was not that strong, so no lights for us.
Holidays 2015 – Part 2c – Star Wars and the Power of Costume Exhibition
Also happening in New York while we were there was the Star Wars and the Power of Costume Exhibition. It was literally 5 minutes walk from where we were staying, so we couldn’t miss it.
Holidays 2015 – Part 2b – Sony Photography Roof Top Event with Dani Diamond
Sometimes we get lucky. A week before flying to the USA, we found out about a free event in Brooklyn about the Sony A7 lineup hosted by Focus with Dani Diamond and Tony Gale talking about some stuff. We signed up for it straight away! We are huge fans of Dani’s work and we were very happy to be able to attend and meet him. Tony was a good surprise, very nice guy and super talented photographer.
Holidays 2015 – Part 2a – New York City
On the 13th November we left Brisbane with Qantas to New York City, with a transfer in LAX.
