Oh 30th July this year I had the opportunity to join four other photographers in a really nice group photoshoot.
Rodney Cossor, our host, has a really nice piece of land in Waterford, Queensland, where he lives with his family. His studio is also there.
So he invited four photographers to join him for a full day of shooting. The idea was that each photographer would bring a model and we invited some hair & makeup artists to join us to create some nice images and learn a thing or two from each other.
The group was:
– Rodney Cossor (photographer);
– Jaymee-Lee Riseley (model);
– Tahlia Rogalevs (HMUA);
– Adam Chant (photographer);
– Siti McNally (model);
– Kyira Gardiner (HMUA);
– Naomi Rowlands (photographer);
– Bec Cook (model);
– Melissa Taylor (HMUA);
– Rodrigo de Diego (photographer);
– Louisa Kelly (model);
– Bruno Domingues (photographer);
– Beth Sheather (model).
And the works of Natalie Lucas MUA (Louisa arrived with her first look ready done by Natalie). Mitch Chaffey, Louisa’s boyfriend was also there helping her (and us) out.
I started our shooting with Beth in her Victoria’s Secret lingerie. I have shot with Beth before (and after) so we work really well together and I’ve been learning a lot from her. This was my first lingerie shoot. Hair & Makeup by Kyira Gardiner.
My second shoot took place inside a Kingswood with Louisa. This was another first for me (shooting in a car). Makeup by Natalie Lucas.
We had a break around 12pm for lunch. Rodney had some sausage sizzles for us and it was delicious!
In between shots I was slowly setting up my lights inside to get some closeup portraits with all of them. I missed Beth for this one as she had to leave early to go work.
I really liked shooting in the Kingswood so I went back. First with Siti.
And then with Bec.
And some natural light portraits with Siti to call the day of shooting and put the camera away.
After that, we watched Rodney shoot his honey concepts with Bec and that was the day… gone!
Thank you so much to Rodney and his family, amazing hosts!!
