Nobby Sunflower Fields

One of the things we didn’t get to see in our trip to USA was a sunflower field. Back in Australia, Roberta found out that there are a few in Queensland. So we did a quick research and went for a drive to the Queensland countryside.

Note: the photos in this post will have a caption with the camera and settings used. The reason for that is I got myself a little Sony A6000 but also took my Canon 5D III (with the 85mm f1.2 only) and you can see the difference between the cameras and lenses. Soon enough I will have a post about that.

We stopped at this place because the clouds look cool.

About 2.5 hours drive Southwest from Brisbane got us to a little town called Nobby. We stopped quickly for the bathroom and left the town centre thinking we still had at least 30 more minutes until finding a field, but it was only 5 minutes really!

Roberta was wearing a beautiful red dress for some portraits and it paid of (Sony A6000 click the photos for camera settings)!
